Sunset photography trip to Arlesford Church Ruins and Arlesford Creek

Post by Richie » Sat Jun 27, 2020 2:50 pm

Hi all,
As per our last "Teams" meeting, may I suggested a club trip out to take some photos. The old church ruins at Arlesford for an early evening shoot and then down the lane to Arlesford Creek for sunset.
The address for St Peters Church ruins is 18 Ford Lane Arlesford. (As best I can ascertain from Google!)
There is plenty of parking at each location.
These are both open locations so social distancing will not be an issue.
The time and date for this shoot will be Tuesday 14th July meeting at the church at about 7pm.
Look forward to seeing some of you then,
Richie.
FYI my mobile is 07860 738737

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, since I am temporarily without car!

I look forward to seeing you all again on a future occasion.

I like your Black Grass Phil!

All the best

Robert

I am hoping to come but we may be going on a short break sometime that week but I'll definitely be there if not.

Very creative Phil. I like the light on the fern one.

Hi All,

Phil, your foliage images are really great - love the colours of the first and the monochrome theme of the second. Nice use of IR techniques and subsequent 'tweaking'.

The idea of the photoshoot in Arlesford sounds great. I'd love to be there - be nice to see the group reunited again.

Stay safe everybody.

Actually, the seond of Phil's images wasn't monochrome like I said. I should have said it was a b&w theme.

Love the black grass shot Phil, great eye 👍
Unfortunately I will not be able to make the shoot (have messaged Richie). It would be a hard push to get to Alresford after being at work and having to come from Halstead. Looking forward to seeing some great shots tho.

Hi all, sorry but I won't be joining you on this trip. Im not convinced about the hurry through of less social distancing at this stage.

I have been active with my camera purely to keep the interest and passion going and have set some themes for myself to accomplish with mixed results.

Have a great time on the 14th hope the weather provides the light you want and you get some great images. Be good if you could all share some.

Keep safe and healthy everyone.

Phil for me the black and white ferns is the one.
