Re: Thank You to Phil !
Yes I second that! Phil, you have always been a pioneer in trying and presenting something new. Your take on different subjects and your continuing playing with the boundaries of what effects you can bring to a picture have always been interesting, insightful and most of all entertaining. Many thank...

Hi Ian thanks for sharing. Love these they are all brilliant and you wouldn’t guess you had cranked up the ISO. My favourite is the middle followed by the bottom one then the first. Love the composition of the first one and the colours. Well done looking forward to seeing everyone’s at the December ...

Re: Dark Gothic inspired (Halloween) images
Brilliant shots Ed, really like the screaming oak image. Love the quality of the processing I think you really nailed the exposures and the atmosphere you were trying to convey. Jim, what can I say, just an amazing and outstanding image. The view point is brilliant and the processing is spot on. It ...

Re: Sunshine and showers, rainbows and howitzers
Nice shot Ed, I’m a fan of this type of image. I like the rain running down the window and the blurring of the garden. It’s great it’s not so blurred you can’t make out what it is. Nice composition

Hi Ed nice images, love the Barrack St image. The exposure and the light trail are very well done. I could see that image in a magazine. Well done.

Re: Sunshine and showers, rainbows and howitzers
Thanks Jim, yes I know factually not correct. However with all things creative we all see things differently and can utilise our imaginations to create the shots we want. We are only limited by our imagination and how we see the end result of that image. This was my vision when I first saw Lisa’s im...

Re: Sunshine and showers, rainbows and howitzers
Hi Lisa, thanks for that Ive had a quick edit and a play but may have a longer session with it tomorrow. Your image is a really sound image and I really like the composition. Ive added a new sky plus a little sunburst and added a little bit of contrast to the various areas I thought could do with a ...

Re: Ideas for photoshoots
Hi Lisa, some great suggestions there. I would be interested in the Bure Dragon, I wasn’t even aware there was one. I thought they’d all died out in Middle Ages
I’m always up for a trip to Marks Hall. Shingle Street I’ve always wanted to do so I’d be interested in that. Great suggestions

Productive evening with a 3 year old
Hi all thought I would share some images from on Saturday evening. Our 3 (soon to be 4) year old granddaughter stayed over. One of the things she wanted to do was photograph something. I explained light painting to her and we got set up. It was totally child led. Ave chose the light emitters and tol...
