If you would rather I didn't, please let me know. I have been working on a way of members being able to upload imag...

Re: Sunshine and showers, rainbows and howitzers
Hi Trevor, I would have liked a more dramatic sky when I took it. The sun was going down so the sun peeking out from behind the mountain works for me

Re: Sunshine and showers, rainbows and howitzers
Lovely light Jim. We were in the Lake District a few weeks ago and the weather was hit and miss. Didn't capture the mountain scenes I wanted to because of the wind and rain. Will share a couple tonight but here is one of the Lion and Lamb from outside Wordsworth's Dove Cottage. Not a great shot - on...

Re: Bures Dragon
Ok the BBC weather forecast has now changed since yesterday and it is now looking rainy in the afternoon. Ian has kindly offered to bow out to reduce the numbers to six so that we can go as one group and abide by the covid regulations- otherwise we would have had to have been split into two groups. ...

Bures Dragon
Hi Folks, I thought I would put some feelers out for a visit to Bures to photograph the Bures Dragon and St. Stephens Church. The weather doesn't look very good for next weekend - the 3rd and 4th of October so can members make the following weekend, the 10th or 11th? Weather-wise, the Sat 10th or th...

Hi Lisa, some great suggestions there. I would be interested in the Bure Dragon, I wasn’t even aware there was one. I thought they’d all died out in Middle Ages 🤣 I think it's really impressive and little known even in this area. You will be in for a nice surprise :). I will have a look at the Phot...

Ideas for photoshoots
Hi, I've been compiling a list of places to visit over the next month(s) with our cameras whilst we are unable to meet in person at the Hythe Community Centre. With a little help from Alison, this is my list so far. Bures Dragon and St. Stephens Church plus a visit to medieval painting of dragon in ...

Hi Michelle,
I too apologise for not being a very active member of the forum of late. I'm impressed with your mask making Michele. I can't claim to be doing anything worthy - just busy with web work and now photographing some of the Essex NGS gardens. My time management needs improving much.

Re: Sunset photography trip to Arlesford Church Ruins and Arlesford Creek
Hi Richie,
I am still hoping to come but I've got a bad toothache which is making me tired and grumpy
. I have an appointment with the dentist tomorrow afternoon thank goodness. If I feel ok after that, I'll be there.
Lisa
PS Ed's sunset photo is making me keen to go!
